Our hearty menus are packed with flavour and feature traditional cooking, such as our El Asador, offering a unique way to cook, with the same technique as in Spain.

Located on Queens Road West, La Paloma boasts a relaxing atmosphere and colourful restaurant space that makes for enjoyable and laid back dining. We’re open for brunch, lunch, and dinner and our friendly staff are always on hand to provide genuine service, with no service charge policy.

Alex Fargas started his culinary career in his home of Barcelona attending one of Spain’s most prestigious hospitality schools, the Hofmann Hospitality School, famed for being one of the only schools in Europe to hold a Michelin Star. His career took flight from a young age, working at the 2 Michelin Starred La Alqueria in the El Bulli Hotel, where he was put to work on the last season’s menu. In 2007, Alex moved to Beijing to work alongside Chef Xavi Franco in Mare Nostrum, followed by a move to Dubai in 2009 for fine dining seafood restaurant Pisces at the Souk Madinat Jumeirah.In 2010, Alex settled in Hong Kong at the helm of Fofo by El Willy, a renowned contemporary Spanish fine dining restaurant in Central. During this time, Alex became the Founder and President of the Spanish Chef Association in Asia, which actively promoted and developed the representation of Spanish cuisine in Asia. Alex realised his passion in sharing accessible Spanish cuisine and food culture to the wider Hong Kong people, with his opening of La Paloma in 2015. After an 11-year tenure at Fofo, Alex returned to La Paloma in a move that helped him to reconnect with what food means to him - sharing his pride in the food and culture of his home country.
